Leenane Food Festival

The Leenane Food Festival will be held in the picturesque village of Leenane, set at the head of Killary Harbour, on the 25th and 26th September. There will be producer displays of local foods for sampling and cooking demonstrations by a chefs, Derry Clarke, local award-winning Chef Tim Sullivan, and Chef Rory Daly from Portfinn Lodge. Come and taste locally-made and produced lamb, cheeses, mutton, seaweeds, salmon, mussels, oysters, smoked fish, cakes, breads, honey, jams, and much more ... There will also be hill walks, a composting demonstration and a vegetable-growing workshop - which all promise to make this a worthwhile and enjoyable event.
